The Lawrence County Public Library would like to introduce you to a new addition to the Genealogy Room.  We have went through the Big Sandy  Newspaper and searched out the Obituary and made an index file that will be easy to look up for those that don't have the time to travel to the Lawrence County Public Library.  Let us help you search for that Obit for $5.00 dollars we will look up the obit and send it to you via snail mail, or for $3.00 dollars we'll send it via email.  Please limit the request to 3 please.  Just send an e-mail or mail a letter with your request and the money and we shall look up the request for you.  This index is not an exhaustive search, please look through the index make sure that the person you are looking for is in fact in our index.
