Please limit your e-mail request to one briefly stated question.
Although we are unable to compile genealogies or undertake extensive research,
we will check a few printed, indexed sources.
Materials on
microfilm can also be checked by staff. Official Kentucky birth and death records begin in 1911. Marriage
records may be obtained from county clerk's offices. The statewide marriage
index begins in 1958.

Guidelines for genealogy requests:
|
 |
All requests must include the full name of the individual, the type of
record to be searched, the approximate date if applicable. |

 |
Photocopy requests must include the exact citation of the material. There
is a duplication fee for copies provided. |
|
 |
Researchers should submit only one request at a time and should wait for a
reply before submitting another. |

Please allow 4-6 days for a response. E-mail does not have priority over
letter requests. |
E-mailed requests are retrieved once a day
